Michael Pesner is President of Hermitage Canada Finance Inc., a company that specializes in financial advisory, mergers and acquisitions as well as financing services to corporations. Previously, Mr. Pesner was a senior partner at KPMG, Canada.

He has considerable experience with financings and financial management, corporate governance, merger and acquisitions.

Previously, Michael Pesner served as a senior partner for 26 years at KPMG. He has extensive experience in Insolvency, Financial Advisory Services and Investment Banking, including mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, investigative accounting, and debt and equity financing.

Michael has extensive governance as a Board Member, notably in real estate, software, technology, mining, retail, distribution, service, and financial. Michael has chaired audit, governance, special and other committees for several public and private companies.

He is a Chartered Professional Accountant and a Licensed Insolvency Trustee. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (Finance and Administration) from McGill University and a Bachelor of Arts from Concordia University.

Mr. Pesner was mentioned as top ten corporate Director by the Canadian business Newspaper Les Affaires. Past board experience includes: KPMG, David’s Tea, Le Chateau, SAQ, Weed MD, well.ca, Wallbridge Mining, Richmont Mining, Innovaderm, ODAIA, and the Fonds Régional de Montréal FTQ.
